YESTERDAY IS AN END, TODAY IS A BEGINNING AND TOMORROW IS UNKNOWN

I guess I am just a dreamer after all. I want the fairy tale life. I want the fairy tale happiness and the "happily ever after". However, as time goes by I am realizing that it is a figment of a child's imagination and that we are led to believe that all our dreams do come true through the fairy tales we are read when we are children.

However, the real world is not that simple or that colourful. It is not a place of all that "joy, joy, happy, happy" situation we believe it should be.

Don't get me wrong. Some people are lucky to find that "happily ever after" but today the number of people we know who do live this type of life can probably be counted on one hand.

As time goes by, I am faced with the reality that there is very little to keep us happy in a relationship all the time. There are days of ups and downs and highs and lows and to be frank it gets to the point where most of us begin to care less about pleasing someone who may not be trying to please us.

Relationships are a two way thing. If your partner cannot be sensitive to your needs and if he or she cannot share and be a part if your life the way you are a pat of their, maybe it is time to throw in the towel.

Why should you be the one fighting o keep a relationship together? Why should you be the one to hurt and hurt andhurt ALL THE TIME.

This is a selfish world and lots of people are in it to make us miserable. Lots of people are self-centered and have interior moties for eerything they do. Recognizing the red light when it begins to flash AND heeding what it means is very important. Hard as it may seem, we have got to know when to stop smelling fake roses. The scent we are smelling is fake. It is not there. It probably never was. On the other hand if it was there once MAYBE it can be recovered but there will be a lot of work to do to get it back.

So, do you have the time to try? Some of us won't. Some of us will tire and decide to move on. Some of us will step back and turn the light off. The choice is ours and whatever we decide, it can only end up with our being better persons tomorrow.

So, remember YESTERDAY IS AN END, TODAY IS A BEGINNING AND TOMORROW IS UNKNOWN.
