The person I am featuring today was student of mine at CCC.
JAISEN BARRERA grew up at Libertad Village in the Corozal District, Belize.
Jaisen attended Libertad Methodist School for his elementary schooling and the Corozal Community College for his secondary education.
He came to the United States of America in 1999. Jaisen attended Lehman College in the Bronx, NY and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree.
Jaisen joined the Army in January, 2007. His first duty station was at Fort Drum, NY. He was deployed to Iraq in 2008. His next duty station was at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. After Hawaii his next duty station was to Fort Bliss, TX where he currently is. Last July, Jaisen went to Zambia, Africa where they were training the Zambian Defense Force and the Zambian Police Force.
After 7 weeks away from his beautiful family and working hard Jaisen made it another level up the ladder once more.
Jaisen Barrera's rank is now Staff Sergeant (SSG). His position is Recruiter in the United States Army.
Jaisen has been married since October, 2008 and has two children, a girl and a boy, with his beautiful wife, Dilcia.
JAISEN WE ARE PROUD OF ALL YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND WE WISH YOU ALL THE BEST IN THE FUTURE.

Jaisen is one of my former Army Soldiers and friend. He is a great man, friend, husband and father. My hats off to him an all his continued accomplishments. He is a fine example of what it takes to be a leader in the US Army.
