We are still in shock and its difficult to come to terms with the death of Cornelio Acosta Sr. The PUP family in Corozal District and especially the PUP's of the Corozal Bay have lost a great party supporter, worker and a fierce PUP warrior. As the Vice Chairman of the PUP Corozal Bay Executive Cornelio was instrumental to every campaign of the party.
His dedication and loyalty to the PUP was well known and he served in various capacities in the party structure. Cornelio Acosta was also the PUP Mayor of Corozal Town starting his term in 1997.
Gregorio Papas Garcia and the PUP Corozal Bay Executive extend their deepest sympathies to his wife Ms. Velia, his children and his brothers and sisters.
May he rest in peace and may he be in a better place today. Hasta luego Corno!
