Dr Manuel Estrada Jr and the OUTREACH MEDICAL SERVICES in the Orange Walk District

THIS MEDICAL TEAM AND THEIR COORDINATING LEADER ( Dr. Manuel Estrada Jr. , below) did a wonderful job at the OUTREACH MEDICAL SERVICES GIVEN TO RESIDENTS IN THE RURAL AREA OF SAN ROMAN, RIO HONDO IN THE ORANGE WALK DISTRICT ON SATURDAY , OCTOBER 24, 2015.

Despite very short notice, Dr. Manuel Estrada Jr. managed to gather one nephrologist, one gynecologist and five medical doctors, two interns and one pharmacist as well as one lab technician, to do the outreach clinic in San Roman Rio Hondo with the help of the representative of Reyesco and Mr. Teul. Together they worked in representation of the Association of Belizean Friends with Cuba. The next Outreach clinic will be the Village of Progresso. Thanks to the doctors who support this medical outreach and made it a success. God Bless you all.

I am especially proud of Dr. Manuel Estrada Jr. whom i taught in Fourth Form at CCC in the Corozal District. He hs come a long way since that year and his willingness to assist those in need is formidable. HATS OFF TO THIS WONDERFUL YOUNG DOCTOR. MAY HE KEEP ON SERVING THE PEOPLE OF BELIZE. GREAT WILL BE HIS REWARDS IN LIFE.

MORE SITES AS SEEN BY MAUVIN VASQUEZ ON HIS TRIP TO JAPAN

As Mauvin Vasquez continues his training in Japan, he sends us lovely pictures of the places he is seeing.

Someone asked, who is MAUVIN?

I taught Mauvin in High School and he was very much  brainy student. He was quick to learn and quick in spirit, too. Not one to follow much, he was more a leader even though he was quiet back then.

His love for the sciences showed itself from an early age! His love for Mother Nature is obvious from the moment you encounter him. Don't try to kill a snake around him. He will tell you not to and will set the snake free in the bushes.

I can be nothing but proud of his accomplishments. He is a Belizean with dreams and he can be assured they will become realities because they are already happening.

IN MEMORY OF A GREAT FRIEND AND MY SOUL MATE - ABEL MARTIN LOPEZ RODRIQUEZ aka ABEL DESESTRESS

Today makes 6 years since the sad news of your death was told to me as I tried to find you in our home in Chetumal, Q. Roo, Mexico. T he policeman who delivered that very shocking news did not know who I was and so he spoke without thinking of the effect his words would have on me.

Not a day has gone by without tears and memories of our time together.

I am grateful that you came into my life and taught me so much about love and living. You also taught me how to write a blog and many were the nights we sat across from each other in out home in Mexico and Corozal while we wrote articles in our respective blogs. The world was a better place as I shared so many things with you and now I go through each day knowing that your lessons are not lost in time but ever present in my heart and my life.

REST IN PEACE MY TEACHER, MY FRIEND, MY LOVER AND MY HUSBAND.

I LOVE YOU MORE THAN YESTERDAY AND LESS THAN TOMORROW.

NI LA MUERTE NOS SEPARE!
